Sanctuary Meadow

October 14, 2014 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Back at it today. Got lots of work to do and its keeping me busy which is good. It was a really really nice fall day out this afternoon. Temps were high. We actually turned the heat on yesterday because it had been cold, but now the temp is flip flopping. Started out feeling great. Legs had some rest and the felt fresh and free. Headed up to the Rail Trail, took it towards Station Rd. Its dirt now since they are in the process of paving it. I just took that to the cut off to the meadow. I have never actually run out there. I knew it was there, just couldnt really figure out how to get onto it. Its an amazing venue. Rolling hills, cut grass paths. Its only about a mile loop, but you could just do it forever. I didnt actually feel that great today, mind was racing and I couldnt settle down and relax. Did a loop then came back on the Rail Trail. Legs were really tired near the end actually surprisingly. It was just a long day... Regardless the meadow is rad, I would love to go back there before it gets covered in snow.

Essentials: Stretch

Quick stretch outside. I dont think stretching would help my legs. They just felt tired not sore. I also had some stomach issues when I got back, so I raced inside and dealt with that, cutting my stretching short. Shoulders and arms feel sore from lifting though which is cool.
