Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Felt great to get back out for a run. Ran in the afternoon. It was chilly, felt like fall. Ran up through town on the way there just to switch it up. People were out enjoying the picturesque afternoon. Started out slow but actually got into a good rhythm. Ankle actually felt really good today. I was kinda weak, but not sore or painful. Just needed a little rest. Felt warmed up by the time I got to the gym.
After lift, ran home on the bike path. Got into a great rhythm there, legs were cruzing and I felt real solid. Stopping at Rt 9 broke that up and I struggled a little on the way back. Ankle was still holding up really well though. Felt good to get those miles in.
Essentials: Stretch
Stretched in the living room when I got back. It was nice and warm inside. Felt good to lounge around and work things out. I ended up just sitting there and watching TV for a while, but it was relaxing. Legs feel great. Ankle is sore, do some exercises on it here and there, but working it back into motion is probably the best thing to do.
