Tough (No stops)

Got out the door a bit after waking up. Didn't ahve any comittments today so I just let myself get up whenever and ran after that. Out the door around 8:30. Was a little nervous about running this without eating or drinking before.

Won't call this a slog. I've definitly had wore long runs. But definintly wasn't easy either and I was working from very early on in this run to keep moving forward and keep the pace constant. I wouldn't say I really pushed into anything just kinda kept my effort steady the whole run. Felt like I got stronger because of this run. Also this may be the first long run in my life were I did not stop once. Not for cars, not for bathroom breaks, nothing. Just ran the distance no stopping. Felt accomplished becasue of this.

Was pretty wiped and kinda just sat for awhile after getting back. Tried to really get the fluids in too upon returning. Not particularly hungry immedietly which is pretty typicall of my after a run like this. My feet hurt too. Am thinking I probably should get new shoes. I've had them for more than a year. Can't say the running has been that consistent this past year but I've still probably put a decent number of miles on the two pairs I rotate.

Since I had dinner comittments Monday through Thursday nights last week I ended up with a lot of dinner food left over. Managed to finish the chickens that I made but had some of the couscous/green been bowl thing I made left. Decided to just make a meat dish and kinda eat boxed grains for the other half of my dinners this week. Made brown sugar and paprika rubbed chicken breasts. The baking that the recipie called for was woefully inadequate but I managed. Followed up with the standard chocolate chip cookies that I've eben eating for deserts.

Another solid xbox sesh while the meat was absorbing the rub and the cookie dough was resting (another mission accomplishied). Finding out you can watch the premier league on your phone has helped so much with the. Becasue not instead of doing nothing and watching the Sunday games I can be doing laundry at the laundry mat and still catch the action!

Also while vacuuming I found my stash of ropes! So I'll have to bring that back! Those were my favorite stretches.
