Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Got a ride up to campus and ran around there. It was kinda cold out but honestly not that bad since it wasnt windy. Got some new shoes cause its Black Friday. Got the GTX version of the Ghost 7, which have Gore Tex so they should keep my feet warm and dry. Perfect for the winter. Started at Fernow, ran over to the Plantations past the new Visitors Center. Ran a salad bowl then cut down to the vet school past the water tower. Honestly, the hills werent that bad, a little slippery from the ice but it felt really natural running up then in my old stomping grounds. Came past the vet school, down Tower Rd, through the Arts Quad to check out the construction, then down Ho Plaza. Not a lot of people walking around campus really... I was going to go down Cascadilla, but the trail was closed for the winter! That sucked because I then had to run down Buffalo. Went slow so I didnt ruin my legs. Turned down Aurora and came home past the police station. Shoes were good feet felt cozy. Took a while to work them in but after a while they felt really natural. Tired as I was coming through campus. The whole last part is straight downhill, so my legs kept moving on that part.
Essentials: Stretch
Short stretch downstairs. Lots of good college football on today, but I didnt putz around. Legs feeling sore, decent mileage in the past few days, with lots of hills.
Also, if you havnt seen the new Star Wars trailer go watch it. Its crazy I have already watched it a bunch of times. This movie is gonna be huge!
