Comments:
We made the executive decision to do two laps around the field, but Anthony had us statically stretch afterwards and gave us the Christmas break training talk. We did a lap around the block and proceeded to Fort Reno with the whole team, where we did six repeats on the hill, running it diagonally at "75%" from the stop sign at the access road to the top. I was with Tristan, Aids, bae and GABE. It was enjoyable, but I needed to be pushing just a tad more. At the end, we all lay down on the grass and looked at the sky whereupon Anthony said, "Some people got out of their last class of substance today and are now at home playing video games or on the computer or smoking something they shouldn't be smoking; but you guys are here today running this hill, and I think that's a good choice." I ran another long cooldown with the distance team and then after some weight lifting instruction did 3x45 second crunches and 2x25 pushups.
