Did a longer trip up in the Jolly beach harbor. Wind and waves were tough at times making it a pretty legit kayak. We did finish up with relaxing on the beach and then getting a Boxing Day meal. Went into Georgetown for dinner and saw some of the Junkanoo celebration. Most of it was last night and early morning and we were all too exhausted to go see it lmao. I could hear it a little bit in the evening though.
Hope everyone had a nice holiday. I got my white Christmas. Overall though, I was pretty disappointed in the holiday spirit and commercializm. It didn't seem like Christmas time, even with all the music and advertisements. Since I don't celebrate or care about the holiday at all, I like to get caught up in the magic of the season but it just felt absent this year. Maybe I am becoming sensitized or people are less into it these days. Anyways that's just my feeling.
