Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 40s, windy

Some people think it makes sense to go the beach in December . . .
Boardwalk-->Tidewaters-->Rehoboth Ave-->Boardwalk-->Tidewaters for another 9 minutes-->back home via boardwalk. When I'm running by myself--especially this year--I get in this ultra-competitive mindset with myself and give myself all kinds of mental speeches and taunting ("I bet you can't negative split this . . ." and so on) that make me run faster than necessary; but by the end I feel quite rewarded. Tomorrow I'll try for a mellow run. As for strength work: 1:30 planks, 20 leg lifts--note I HATE plank leg lifts; they are far and away the worst exercise we do and I have been stuck at 20 for as long as I can remember--3x25 pushups.
