Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Ran in the morning today. Brendan had a meeting in the afternoon so we went at 10:30. The gym was pretty empty at that time. I liked it. Started out with 1mile warm up on the track. Hit the treadmills after that. Tried the new ones that face the track this time. I liked them. They are a little more cramped but they feel like they run the same. Started out at 7:30 min pace then cut down. Finished last half mile at 6:20 so it wasn't quite as fast. Went 3.5 on there since we had a little bit of a miscommunication. Last half of a mile would have been pretty tough... Decent cool down on the track after. Lost track of laps but it was probably 1.5 in the end. Felt really good today again. Brendan displayed interest in the dine and dash 5k but he wants to break 18:00... Thanks gonna take some hauling in our current fitness level. I am still up for a race to see where my speed and endurance are at.
Essentials: Stretch, L7
Stretch was standard. Back down in the basketball court. Talked about the decision on admitting Iranian students. I was tired and hungry at the end of the workout. Went back to conte after that. Tired though I am not used to working out early so it's hard to do work afterwards. I would rather go later but can't complain about getting a good run in.
