Rec Center Treadmill

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Hit up the gym right after lunch. Thought I would have digestion issues, but it turned out ok. Wasnt too populated. Brendan and I were going for endurance today. Started out on the track with a warm up, then went onto the treadmill for a sustained effort. Held 7:00 min pace for 3 mi. Plan was to go 5, but we were getting bored on the treadmill. Switched to the track for 1 mi at around 7:00 min pace then back to the treadmill for the last mile. On the track we were flying, passing everyone. I was trying to push the pace and it felt nice and comfortable but fast. Cool down 1 mi on the track afterward. So in the end, it was 1,3,1,1,1. Felt good today. Mileage was up and we held a pretty good pace. I was kinda struggling on the treadmill but mostly from boredom than fitness. Feet were sore afterward, especially my toes from my socks getting saturated with sweat.

Essentials: Stretch

Just a simple stretch on the courts. Brendan was really sore from all the pounding on the hard surface so we kept it quick. I admit the surface was kinda bad, but its better than the slippery ice. Really hungry afterwards, so I ate my snacks and kept working and held out until dinner. Been high on calorie counts some days and low others. Sometime I am just super hungry all day. I have been snacking on fruits though which is better. Got close to race weight at the weigh in back in the locker room (156 lbs).
