Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Stayed late then ran at night. Brendan ditched so I had to go alone. I still wanted to run so it was ok. Still its so much more boring alone, now that I have something to compare it to. My iPod batteries died out earlier in the day too, so I had no tunes. Aw man just stared at the wall the whole time. Started on the treadmill, with a 0.5 warm up, then held 7:00 min pace for 2 miles. I was getting bored and my IT was pretty tight the whole time. Ran the last 800 at 6:00 min pace, then cooled down on the track. We were going counter clockwise today so it was a little better on the legs, still they were really sore from all the pounding the past few days. Feet have some little blisters as well from my feet sweating so much. Dont feel them running but afterwards I can tell. Lots of people putting in work at the gym tonight, but it was still kinda empty feeling. Everyone just went about and did their own thing, I just kinda drifted through.
Essentials: Stretch, roll, L7
Decent stretch even though it was quick. Rolling was essential today and my IT feels much better, but legs are still pretty sore. Had some of Josh's whey protein afterwards. I am hoping that it will keep me full after working out and give me some energy. When I workout at 1pm, I get really tired and hungry when I get back to lab, so having a little boost there would be nice.
