Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Wow it has been a while since I got in a good gym run. Went around noon. Didnt have to go grocery shopping today because I will be gone all next week, so I got to run earlier. Snow was starting to come down, but it wasnt that bad. Sidewalks were kinda slippery. Stayed consistent and had a great pace on the way up. Not a lot of pedestrians to dodge either, which was good since I didnt have my glasses on.
After lifting, came back on the bike path. Snow was consistent, and the wind was blowing directly at me. It was cold and it slowed me down considerably. I just kept chugging along down the path, not really feeling upset or frustrated, I just kept moving forward. Pretty tired when I got back to the house though. Good workout today.
Essentials: Stretch, roll
Shorter stretch and roll when I got back. Legs are kinda sore, and my IT was actually tighter after rolling. May need to get on it a few more times. Great mileage this week. Not sure how much running I will be able to do, if any, in San Antonio, so it might be a week off for me. I am looking forward to not seeing any snow on the ground. Even if it is cold and raining, no snow will be so liberating. On another note, I hope UAAs is going well. I havnt been able to see too many results, but I hope people are getting some good marks and good experiences. Indoor UAA always to me seemed like a build up to outdoors UAA, since we had a better chance at a higher team place there. Either way got to run and have fun!
