Weather: 20s, occasional breeze, not a cloud in the sky
Comments:
At 12:15, I loosened up and braved the cold with pants and long sleeves. I suppose today's run was the first slog I've done in awhile. My breathing was okay, but legs quite sore and heavy, undoubtedly from the tempo, the hills and yesterday. With the weather and the non-ideal footing, personal bests, races and goals seemed a long way off and it took some maturity and reminders that I like running not to get frustrated. But when I went through Taylor park and saw the whole canopy of trees covered in snow, I smiled and figured I'd just take what the run gave me. Six striders.
