Ashland - Lithia Park + "Prickly Pete"

March 6, 2015 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Slept in a bit, then drove to Noble and ran: the traditional pre-race routine. It was beautiful: 40s, but pure sun and dry!

Ran EASY uphill to Siskiyou, then over to Lithia. I felt...HEAVY. The pool and power-hiking leave me really sore. The achilles was...well, OK. Ran along, and shuffled up the dirt road hill to Prickly Pete. I was feeling the kale salad from last night, so we barely made it back down to the dirtroad to the park bathroom.

The rest of the run, we picked it up a bit, taking advantage of the nice downhill. Achilles was OK - some minor soreness, but not bad. Just...overall malaise, with some obvious allergy stuff brewing.

Post-run: coffees at Noble, then packed up and headed to Auburn. Went to ARC to check-in and hung out with LB and Connor, then dined at "Little Belgium" with a crew that included LB and Laurie, Queen, Gar-Bear, and some Mill Valley rando named Jonas!

PM PM: went to the Curley residence to "check in". Slept in DMC's man cave!
