Run to the Rec Center

Comments:
Nice run in the afternoon. Gym didnt open until 3 so I waited around doing some cleaning and watching March Madness. It was real sunny out, but windy and particularly cold. Had a few layers on. Ran up through town center. I could notice the increase in traffic as everyone is coming back from spring break. Sidewalks were fine though I just was able to cruise along. Felt tight and heavy in the legs overall. On the way back from the gym, came back through town. I was tired to start out, but by the time I got past Band of America I was feeling quick. Stride and pace felt smooth and nice. There were some other runners out and I was trying to catch them on my way down the street, so I really picked the pace up. Nice to finish runs on a fast note. Honestly, my shins and lower legs were locking up a little, but I kept on pushing the pace. I did eventually pass them, yay point for me.

Essentials: Stretch, L7

Easy stretch and L7 when I got back. Legs feel sore and tired, but we worked. After not running past few days I could feel it, didnt like it. Run today got me recalibrated. I signed up for the Dine and Dash 5k. Its in a few weeks but that should be fun to pick the pace up a little. Another thing that should be noted, I ran in one of my Puds Run shirts today (from 2006), and as I was taking it off at the gym, the hole on my back ripped open completely. It is now half a shirt. It had a good run (pun intended).
