Consumed for days by my anxiety about the impending 400 workout, I was a little relieved when I heard that we would do 10x300m instead. But 400s remained an option and although going against Anthony's advice, I wanted to prove to myself that I could do them well enough, and if not, make the workout worth all the worry. I had one minute recoveries and a lap recovery at the halfway mark. Splits were (all over the place): 69, 73, 72, 72, 71, 70, 71, 75, 74, 72. My respiratory system did not work well at all on repeats 8 and 9, and I definitely went into anaerobic territory during these. Halfway through the workout, Anthony also said I was overstriding. I appreciated Zeke encouragingly jumping in the final 200m with me. Somewhat pleased with the whole thing. 1:45 planks, leg lifts, clams, 30 pushups.
