Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Caught up on some much needed rest. Actually fell asleep watching basketball last night then slept in. Chilled around the house in the morning. It was snowing out, again. Luckily it was a little warmer and it was melting as it hit the ground. Still when the wind was whipping it felt cold. Starting out I felt slow and sluggish. Could tell I havnt run in a few days. The hill on Whitney was also tough, felt like I was struggling up that. On the way down, cut along the schools and did a shortcut past the high school field, then came back Dickinson and up along the edge of campus. The downhill helped me pick it up a little and I felt more comfortable, but still weak and slow. Finishing up down Pleasant I probs felt the smoothest. Felt so good to fit in the miles today.
Essentials: Stretch
Just a little stretch. Legs are sore but nothing is really tight. Mostly I was just really tired and wanted to sit and watch TV. Overall it was boring out running didnt see anyone else out. Recently people have only been going out when its nice and sunny, not when it snows. But seriously, when is it going to be shorts running weather? Not looking forward to the sweltering heat in the middle of the summer, just a cool breeze and sunshine. Not mud puddles and snowblind.
Felt like I was going slow, but went a little over 5 today for a decent pace overall.
