Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Ran from Conte in the afternoon. I was there to do some work and help out with a math competition that was going on in the classroom. Timing worked out pretty well actually. It was sunny out today, but a little on the chilly side. Still used to the freezing cold running weather. It was so nice though, all the undergrads were out playing basketball, skateboarding, running, playing Frisbee, and even KanJam! That made me smile. I started on the Access Rd. Havnt been there in a while. It was nice and soft, which was important since my legs felt like rocks to start out. Very tight in the lower section. I tried to run on the XC Course, but it was too wet. Slowly marched across that then cut behind the dorms and just did Orchard Hill and came back through campus. Did feel alittle better at the end of the run but that doesnt say much for how sore I was to start. Felt like I caught up on sleep this week, just takes a while to get back into a rhythm.
Essentials: Stretch
Just a quick stretch again. I was at the benches outside of Conte, and in the shade and wind, so it was actually pretty cold. Felt fine. Legs feel sore afterwards. Mostly, I was really really hungry, so I just checked in with the math people, locked up the room and went home to eat. Would have liked to get a lift in, hopefully can work it into the weeks workouts. Softball season is fast approaching... I guess I even saw some kids tossing the ball around today during my run.
