Slept on the couch at my uncle's. Hung out with family for a bit in the AM, then my mom and I took off for down south.
Had an interesting "errand" in Minneapolis that afternoon: interviewing Dusty Olson! I wanted to talk to him about pacing Jerker, as well as get some intel about all the guys who tried to go after Jurek over the years. It was really cool to meet and talk to him over a couple beers.
PM: back at mom's, I helped her prep the house for a painting job. We ate dinner with Billy, then I went to Max's to hang out. That was pretty good. He's doing better: on more solid ground, but...still a ways to go.
