Comments:
Now this is the spring weather we have been looking for. Blue sky, sun, no wind. Great afternoon for a run. I was sore from yesterday, but running felt good. Took the bike path up to the gym. Pace was slower, just chugging along not focusing on much. There were lots of kids out just enjoying the weather, either playing sports or chilling out at the frat houses.
After the gym, came back through town. About same feeling pace. The sidewalks were crowded and I had to zig zag around people. The downhill was nice. Did feel all that tight or tired.
Essentials: Stretch
Did get a more comprehensive stretch in when I got back. That was really needed. Thats when I truly felt the soreness from the race. It was nice enough outside to sit and stretch though. Did a little stick rolling as well.
