Exercise Type: Run
Weather: high 50s, beautiful
Comments:
Ran early with CA, just before 7AM. She's now committed (mostly) to running at 145 HR, because
A.) she's not seeing fitness gains at 155
B.) she continues to have "nigZ"
C.) she's not shedding fat the way she wants
These are all classic signs that MAF is too high. And if you count her injury and allergies, she should be at 145.
But...it's been a MAJOR slow-down for her. Like...10min miles. So...that's what we did!
EASY, SLOW run from the apt, through PRE and secret trails and back. I thought maybe we could roll 9:30s in the AM, but that wasn't the case.
I averaged 102 hr for 7 miles in just under 70min!
PM: fairly good day of work, then my friend Jimmy (now a bonafide Delta pilot) flew into PDX and rented a car to come see me! We golfed 9 holes (I won in "skins play") then we grabbed burgers and taps of Maiden! Good day!
