6x35 seconds at "mile date effort." I had a loop in 45-50 minute range, but starved for soft surfaces, I did the pickups themselves--with 52 second recovery--on a muddy field at HB, before going home the usual way. With the risk of slipping, and wanting to feel like I could hold the pace for a mile, I found myself holding back a bit. In any case, such short pickups just feel kind of silly. I'm sure Farwell knows what he's doing. The rest of the run felt alright, especially after drills ten minutes into it.
