DeFazio 5k tempo again. Major focus on the heel recovery ala "Salazar Stride".
Had to really slow it down to keep it under 170. Felt strong but...damn, slow: 19:45, 168HR.
Ugh. Bummer. But looking back at last year (the only other time I've tracked HR on tempos), all my work was WAY over 170, so I have to take solace in knowing I'm doing the right thing, keeping it at or under threshold.
Had another longer lunch so did nearly 6 total with longer WU and CD.
