Comments:
This morning went well, although a little disjointed. I warmed up for 13:21, did drills, did 2(30-60-90) at 5k effort with double time recovery around the field at Rehoboth Elementary, transitioned to the adjacent soccer field, ran around for another 4 minutes, before moving on to 8x20 seconds at mile effort with "crisp turnover." The last five of these I treated like striders, but set a countdown timer, because as I learned 20 seconds is far too short to check one's watch mid-stride. I pretty much circled Rehoboth before finishing the rest of the run. Generally felt pretty good, especially after having to outkick some fast middle schooler to reach the boardwalk's end. 1-minute flutter kicks, Heel-toe walks, 20 calf raises, 1-minute of side plank dips per side, 1 minute prone and supine planks, 20-second down pushup.
