Weather: 50 and pleasant at the beginning, changing to 13mph winds and icy rain at the end
Comments:
Unwittingly underdressed, I warmed up for 10 minutes and did leg swings before starting the 40-minute tempo. There's no way around it, 40 minutes is a long time to stay that focused on the pace, but at least for the first 22 I was moving quite nicely, until the weather took a turn for the worse. At one point I thought I was lost, but found my way back in time, using the coast as my guide, feeling more than a little silly in short sleeves.
