Kayaking the big river

Not a run, but we kayaked 8 miles in the morning. The way down was easy with the tide, but we had to book it and paddle hard on the way back. I was pretty sore from the aches from my cold so that didn't make me feel any better. I was trying to keep. Good pace but it was hard at points. I was pretty tired afterwards and the rest of the day. Good thing we just chills out and checked out more beaches and had a nice night out in fort Bragg. Head cold and the hot weather doesn't mix well. Also not sleeping that great isn't helping it. Havnt run in a while though and I can't really tell. I would have taken this time off anyways. Once I get back into th swing of things it's work time baby.
