Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Campus run, mixing it up. Havnt done one of those in a while. Started a little late but stomach felt fine. Cool breeze but it was kinda humid out actually. Started out at a nice pace, legs felt ok. Wanted to use todays run not to think about lab and other shit, but to release and just run. It worked I think. Held a good pace, and when I got up to Puffers Pond I just kept going. Throwback with the loop all the way around to the backside. There were a lot of people swimming too which was a nice reminder of summer. Felt good going up and down the hill. Came back Summer St and started to pick up the pace a little, since I was excited that I actually went further than I anticipated. Only in the last half mile I started to feel it in my legs and slow down a little. I saw a bunch of the guys leaving Conte though on my way back down to the parking lot so I blew by then and messed with them a little bit. That was fun. Felt good when I finished, glad I added on. Got to get that mileage and long run mileage back up.
Essentials: Stretch
Pretty thirsty and hungry when I did finish up. I did a little stretch but I hate stretching in the parking lot so I packed up and came home pretty quickly. Parts of my legs tightened up, and they are all sore overall. Havnt gone that far in a while (kinda embarrassing). Felt great after not running yesterday.
A bit further than 6 but I dont think it got up to 6.5 with the trails. Means pace was much faster so thats good.
