I have no idea what any of our run locales are called. But a glance at Zeke's log has revealed to me that we ran at Taconic Crest. I saw more pastoral, mountain views combined with steep, rocky, technical trails that required you to stay light on your feet the whole time, and tired me out in an unfamiliar way. I'm relieved to feel like I'm in SOME kind of rhythm with training. It feels liberating running on trails most days. Now to put together the rest of the puzzle, I need strength work and weights, speed, more workouts, more hills and I'll be well on my way to running the greatest 8k I can. I am just beginning to notice that special, cross country team dynamic team.
