Access Rd + XC Course + Orchard Hill

Decent campus run. Glad I drove in and was able to just head out at the end of the day. Pretty intense the past few days in lab getting some ideas rolling. Achilles was tight a few day ago, and now my whole calf was tight. Wrapped it up in the sleeve. Its that point in my training, where I hold my body together with Neoprene. It felt tight in the beginning but manageable and decent by the end. It was just so nice outside. Crisp weather, and honestly I felt like my old self in the calf sleeve. I saw a fucking huge snapping turtle on the Access Rd. It was going slow and I knew I could outrun it if I had to, so I kinda got close to it. It was pretty cool. Felt tired on the hills on the XC Course but kept charging up them. Last loop around campus after coming down O-Hill was legit too, felt quick. I ended at the gym, did a little circuit (it was really crowded today) then jogged back over to the parking lot and headed home. It was starting to get dark by then. As winter approaches, cant just assume it will be nice and light out like it was in the summer. Pretty soon the sun will be setting before 5pm!

Essentials: Stretch, stick roll

Waited until I got home to stretch, since gym was packed and I dont like the pavement in the parking lot. It was fine overall. Did some extra rolling on my calf. Still a little tight, Achilles feels sore. Other than that felt great today. Had a hard time turning off my research brain during the run. Just one of those days I guess.

The route to the gym was a tad bit longer than 5, just like on Monday.
