Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Definitely a night run. I planned to go in early and fit in a run during the day, but got carried away with some research and didnt make it. Then, found out we were going to Rafters to celebrate Cheng's defense. That was kinda like an early dinner. We got a ton of wings and 2 pitchers of beer. No one wanted to drink really, so Prof Watkins and I ended up putting down most of the pitchers. Needless to say I was feelin it after that. I still had to go back to Conte and bike home, which sucked cause it was getting dark and I was feeling pretty tipsy. Finally got back and just sprawled out on the couch, feeling pretty bad. I knew I had to run, so I rested a little then headed out at 9:30 or so. Sobered up but the wings were still there. Just took it nice and easy through the night. It was kinda scary on the bike path, not being able to see whats ahead, just the little illumination from the headlamp. I knew that in the end I would get through the trail and back home though.

Essentials: Stretch

So tired and fat feeling when I got back. I dont like that. Glad I did get out briefly though. Felt ok, calf was alittle sore but not as tight as yesterday, and I could still feel my Achilles a little bit. It was humid out too which was kinda nasty. Not a great run, but just got sideswiped from stuff in the lab. Been going crazy the past week or so, need to take a day to regroup and work out some ideas before moving forward appropriately. Not sure whats ahead, but I know where it leads.
