September 19, 2015 (Afternoon)
Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Went in to do a little catching up in the morning and was planning to run there, but decided to just come home and do a classic gym run. Actually felt pretty good on the way up. Went all the way up to the pond then cut over. Achilles felt good, calf felt pretty good too. Had to take a bathroom break when I got the the gym and tightened up a little bit. Lifted then headed back. Legs were so tight starting out and felt like rocks. Headed back on the bike path so I could get into a rhythm, but it was still strenuous. Not at all like I felt yesterday. It wasnt that hot though, the nice crisp air is starting to roll in.
Essentials: Stretch, hips, roll
Had to get that good stretch in outside, and do some hips as well since the IT bands felt pretty tight. Honestly feeling better afterwards. Looking to do some long run mileage again tomorrow, not necessarily 13+, just long. For the most part legs held up well this week.
