Let It Down

July 7, 2008 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
You know I've been drinking
My senses are leaving
Enhance my dreaming
And my feelings for you

But we're young to this city
So we gotta do everything
Not to let it down
Not to let it down

It's up to me and you
To do all the things our
Parents taught us
So well not to

We're young and alone
So let's do everything
Ignore the telephone
It's not for you

Constantly
It's so hard to breathe
I can hardly see
Sense of smell's left me
And what's the point to hear
Unless it's her voice saying
We can disappear
What in the hell did she do to me
What in the hell did you do to me
What in the hell did you do....to me

I'll always want to sleep
If she's the one I'll see
The one I'll see

This is one of my favorite The Mile After songs. Their new cd is amazing. It's the first cd I have bought in about five years, that says something. This song always hits me hard, especially in different points in my life since my life and surroundings change constantly. I've had this song in the good times, but mostly the bad and everything in between. I think right now I'm in between. The last verse sums up everything perfectly right now. I wish I could sleep forever, because every time I close my eyes its her I see. In fact most of my days recently have been consumed with the thoughts of her in my head.
