Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Had a rough day today. Just was really quiet and calm for most of the day, actually fairly productive. In the afternoon I broke down, ended up just crying in my office for like 30 minutes. So weird since I dont cry much. Actually last time I cried was like a year and a half ago when Jack first started having his seizures. Now I just need to take it as is this week, stride for stride. The run helped alot. Just got out there and blended into town. Ran up the hill first then came back down through campus. Thats a solid underrated route. Knees and IT were a little tight, but overall I could keep the pace. Achilles was tight in the beginning but it faded away to feeling more natural. By the end, I just felt like flying. From Snell I picked it up a lot and was going real hard, and it felt great. Awesome way to finish up the run. Weather was cool and crisp the whole time as well.
Essentials: Stretch, roll
Finally got a solid stretch in. Needed that after the past few days. ITs still a little tight. Mileage is up but its not all that high. Hope I can get through the half with such a scrunched training schedule. Feels good to get this elevated training and keep working hard in lab though. I think its helping both sides.
