Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
I have been taking Tuesdays off, but I got a birthday party to go to tomorrow. Plus I was up for a nice run. It was humid out today, that front definitely moving in. Hard getting out the door and going today but once I got to the trail it was fine. Just pushed along. Thought I came back faster (it felt harder) but pretty much even split it. Not that many people out today, maybe they are afraid of the rain. Doesnt look like the storm is gonna hit us full on though (the radar shows its literally raining EVERYWHERE in the Northeast except for Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island). Quad kinda sore today, had to work into the rhythm. Surprisingly sweaty when I got back too. Eww worse than getting rained on.
Essentials: Stretch, stick roller, roll
Oh yea needed that roll out for my legs, still feelin the long run. Felt solid today though definitely notice speed and endurance are way up than "normal" which is where I wanted to be for the race. Todays run felt really easy. Good because that crisp fall air just smells like cross country.
