Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Interesting workout. The idea was to run out for 6 minutes at 10k pace and then note when you stop. Then 2 minutes rest, and then run back the same distance but 6 seconds faster (5:54). Then out to the same spot, again 6 seconds faster (5:48), and then back again in 5:42.
I'm not sure about the distances I got, will have to measure it with a spedometer or something.
First two intervals were great; just settled in with a group and followed their pace. third one, as you can see, we went a bit too fast. I kind of threw in the towel on the last interval, obviously, and failed, but still felt good, because I started the interval expecting to just jog it, but ended up latching on to a girl who was also doing the same thing and we pushed each other to a still half-decent (albeit 20+ seconds slow) time, much faster than I would have done it otherwise.
