Exercise Type: Run

Just felt so ready to run today. Did some good thinking at lab today and we got the logistics figured out for Road Trip Pt. 3. I have been so busy its been hard to plan for it, but I feel relieved now. Its gonna be great, expensive but you just gotta bit the bullet for these things its worth more than money. That being said, got out on this run and hit the roads hard. Had a good pace which just felt so natural and kept it most of the way. Feeling real solid around the stadium, watching various practices. People putting in work! On the way back down the bike path, started to slow down a little bit, then thought to myself what it would be like in the middle of the race to fall off the pace, how would you react? I then picked it up and finished right about where I was before. Running down some girls jogging in front of me on the bike path was motivation. Stuff kinda tight here and there, but mostly felt ok.

Essentials: Stretch, roll

Stretched outside actually, felt nice in the mildly chilly fall weather. Back kinda tight as well as IT afterwards, but lower legs didnt feel blocky at all today which is nice. Total turn around from yesterday. Need to warm up my flats this week in preparation for the race. I think it will be more comfortable that trainers which will just feel heavy after a while. I am pretty used to my flats also.
