Classic South EUG run from "the clinic"

November 6, 2015 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: nearly 70, sunny! NICE

Comments:
Pretty decent day: worked the usual 9-130, which wasn't bad. Felt good to sleep in a bit.

I had my yearly allergy follow-up at 3:30, so I drove home to change, then drove to the clinic to run from there. It is RIGHT next to my old south town PT clinic (back when I worked there, 2009-2013, T-Thu), so I decided to run my classic AM "8-9 miler".

I couldn't get my HRM to work...then I realized the fucking backing - battery and cap - fell off! Damn it! Almost for sure lost. So no HRM for this run, went by feel.

BEAUTIFUL conditions: ditched the shirt about a mile in, south to Amazon, then all the way to the end of rexius. Stopped (but forgot to stop the watch) for 2x6 pull-ups (for about 90s), then kept going.

Felt great. I might've cheated, but I logged a bunch of mid-7s splits.

Finished the run in about 56 minutes. I used to call this run 8 miles...but it logged 7.3. LOLZ. This explains why I was able to say, "I ran 7-flat miles"!

PM: good allergy appt (gonna test to see if I'm actually allergic to shit like strawberries and olive oil), then hustled over to yoga.

Good yoga class, then nachos and beer at T&G with CA, then home, showered, grocery stop, then salads for dinner and a "date night" of "Friday Night Lights!". Good, relaxing day.
