It started with smashing my head

So it started with smacking my head hard against a tree. Wasn't paying attention, low hanging Branch (more like limb) head made contact. I ended up on the ground, dazed, confused, and with a throbbing head. Oh and that was the warm-up. I started running and my HR was way high. I was plugging away at 170 right off the bat. The average was 163, but for the first 1/2 of the run, I was sitting with an AVG of 167. I was floating in the 170s a bit (8 minutes above 170). It felt weird, kinda like I had the energy to be up there, but I knew I didn't have the stamina to follow through. I was continuously trying to limit my speed. In the end it was a good run, but I had a lot of pitfalls along the way. Stopped several times for a side stitch (are those liver related?) and just had issues with this run.

Oh I also commuted to work today (18 miles of biking) which will be a regular component of my life, so I will have to see how that effects my runs, or how well I adapt to the added strain on my body. Tomorrow I am biking on my touring bike (today was on the race bike). Lets see how different I feel.
