Weather: low 30s again
Comments:
Slept OK and started what would be the routine, all week:
- up between 7 and 8
- make tea
- foam roll and stretch
- run about an hour later
I was a little worried about being haggard - AND having super-sore feet - but CA actually worked 'em last night, which was awesome! (I'm spoiled!)
That, and we ran super-easy today, starting flat through some roads in town before hitting up yet another separate trail network, the Kinni Trails.
Did about 3 miles of road, then about 5.5 miles of nice singletrack right beside the Kinnickinnic river: like Sandy Bottoms, but 100x better! Felt fantastic and had some really nice chats with CA.
Last 1.5 miles was on the roads, for an even 10. Slow pace (like 10+pace, including the slow trail miles), with an AHR of 113! Perfect recovery.
AM: made breakfast, then went to get coffee. My mom bought CA a 90-minute massage for breakfast(!!), so I sat at the coffee shop doing work, then we headed home.
Wore the Boston Boosts today, no inserts.
