Run to the Rec Center

Comments:
Planned today to actually run on campus, but some snow was coming in and I wanted to run before that, so I just came home and headed right out. Caught that at a good time it was still light out and good temp. Went on the bike path out. Felt like I wanted to go a good pace, but legs just held me back. It was hard to pick it up. Odd feeling. Still felt solid Achilles a bit tight. Hit up the gym and did a nice circuit. I looked up old training plans so I have some more ideas of other exercises to toss in there. Afterwards, reclothed myself and headed out. Now the snow was starting. A light dusting honestly, but it darkened the sky. I had to squint the whole way back through town, and went a little slow since this was the first run on snow in a while. Also, legs were pretty sore from the circuit.

Essentials: Stretch, stick roller

Thought I would be more sore and tight, but legs good when I got back. Salted the driveway then came and stretched. Probably going to be sore later on, need to build up those muscles, all helps with running. Definitely a more full body workout today with the run and lift feels strong.
