January 14, 2016 (Afternoon)
Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Nice run on campus wanted to get out before it started to get too dark and cold. It was good weather actually. Started up Orchard Hill, came down around Kendrick Park, up through campus again on Thatcher Way, looped down Pleasant, and around the edge of campus to end at the Rec Center. Basically just zig zagging around campus, never really left and fit in some decent mileage. Felt good picked it up a lot at the end. I was following another runner, passed him, then he took a short cut and got in front of me again, so I passed him again finishing up at the Rec Center. Amusing. Felt strong finishing up, even though I am still pretty sore from lifting earlier this week. Running shook it all out.
Essentials: Stretch, L7, roll
Strong stretchin game today. Gym was pretty empty. Felt real flexible but sore afterwards. ITs were so tight when I was rolling. Little jog back to the parking lot is always nice get another shake out if I am still sore. 5 miles feels a lot easier than it would have a few weeks ago. Can really tell the effects of the addition of core and circuits.
