Came to the realization of a couple hard, inter-related truths:

1. This fucking foot is going to need more healing time.
2. I need to GET MY ASS GOING with OCS test study.

Studied a bit in the AM, then decided to do NO working out over lunch, instead taking a pre-test (mini-OCS exam). My friends (with whom I'm sharing this online prep course) score 30 and 31 when they took it in early December. I scored 32...after studying for two weeks. I got murdered on the TMJ material (understandable), but also the cervical, which I fucking studied! Ugh.

Big wake-up. I gotta get after it.

Running: the foot felt pretty good today, but I felt like a long hunt wasn't a good idea, and instead ran an easy (8min pace) treadmill run, with heavy emphasis on whole foot and straight ahead - hard work on the right side. Everything else was solid.

Foot didn't feel bad, but generally...it seems more sore with less running. What that means: when I run more, it's "fake better" -- the running makes it seems like it's OK, but I'm really just "keeping it warm". With smaller bouts, I feel like I'm now feeling its "true colors".

So...

1. less running. Going to keep it to 2-4 miles, indefinitely -- enough to load it a bit, work on good mechanics, but not too much to overload
2. I gotta devote my time instead to studying - the WHOLE reason I was going to run Bandera!

PM: studied even more at home (Shoulder) before CA came home from the hunt. Her report: Dr Choi grinded the PISS out of this vert-heavy run, which is bullshit.
