Chestnut St + Lincoln

February 5, 2016 (Night)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Got our first real snow today. Snowed all morning then stopped and started to solidify. Getting colder so the sidewalks, if the didnt have any salt on them, got pretty icy. There were spots where I had to go slow, and I ended up wiping out on my ass right as I got onto Lincoln. Then I switched to the street, keeping an eye on traffic. I was wondering what would happen if a car swerved at me, and what obscenities I would yell out. As I was thinking about that, someone did swing too close. Kinda cosmic. I said "What the fuck" and then called them an asshole. Rest of run was decent. Legs feel pretty good even though I had to hold back at parts.

Essentials: Stretch

Stretching it out. ITs kinda sore might work them out a little more. Hopefully the sidewalks melt a little bit so its easier to run on them. Not into ice running shape yet. I am better then most people though I didnt see anyone out running today. Nice to know that running in the snow feels natural to me. Good run to wrap up another intense week. Pretty pleased with mileage for how much work I have been doing. 5 days a week is solid.
