Comments:
Biking is boring, but life is a little more interesting.
So Harvey always brings us snacks/drinks for lab presentations, and the drinks, as always, were a bunch of random bottles he grabbed from the health food section of the grocery store. Historically, they've ranged from interesting to bizarre, but always pretty tasty. Today, I took one brand that seemed harmless, and Harvey had another of the same kind. After a few sips, I realized that it was disgusting, and set it aside. Harvey had a few sips of his, and after a few minutes, checked the ingredient list. Turns out, they put tumeric in the juice, which is incidentally, the stuff used for "juice cleanses". It would go without saying that after a few minutes, our stomachs felt pretty gurgly. Fortunately, we both survived the lab without any issues, but I did feel pretty nauseous for a while afterwards.

Moral of the story: Beware of health juices offered to the class by somebody named Ralph.
