for some reason I like running track workouts more than tempo runs. It gives me a better sense for how hard i'm working. Will do some tempo runs/pickups in the future though. wanted to do 5 by mile, but it was 90 and there were a bunch of little kids throwing lax balls around. times were 5:38, 5:37, 5:37, 5:32 with 1 minute recovery. I was working hard and was happy with my times for the hot weather.
