Weird day - weights and short pool

Didn't get much done at all today. I'm due an allergy shot, so I tried to go over lunch, only to find they have their weekly meeting (shutting the office), so I drove home...only to find I forgot my study materials! So I just relaxed there, then went to Oakway.

Got in another good lift, after doing 5 minutes of pretty hard powerhike warm-up: 5min at 15% and nearly 4mph. Foot was fine.

3 sets of squats and the like, including some calf work. Really worked on making sure I was loading the pelvis left.

Then, I hit the pool and did some deep water running for :15 before I had a pool therapy session for a guy and his shoulder. Then back to work.

PM: ...NO foot pain or soreness at all! It was great! Decided NOT to run, once again, because - let's face it - I need to get through a work day with minimal pain! So, until that happens, and I can string several of those days together, why run at all? Besides, the combo of today:

- 5min power hike
- 30min lift
- 15min pool deep water run

is plenty of activity.

PM: got some studying done pre- and post-dinner, then relaxed with CA.

It's REALLY good to feel like I'm banking legit healing time. It's taken me a LONG time to realize exactly what "healing" and positive progression really is!
