HUNT! OOJ led

February 23, 2016 (Night)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 50s, crap air

Comments:
Stagnant air tonight for my first hunt since the Tuesday before Bandera. I was hoping it'd be minimal pain, but it was fairly sore - annoying.

I led us through some MUDDY shit in the tract of land north of 30th Ave and east of Hendricks Park. Turns out this is near where Hegge lives, so he helped me navigate a loop I hadn't done before.

HUUUGE Group tonight, like nearly everyone! 12 of us!

OGs: me, Tommy, Lewis, Dan-o
Callie, Emily, Nathan, Matt, Hammer
CB (hasn't been in months), OD (same!)
Jake

Ran SUPER-easy: walking a lot of the ups. I wanted to keep it easy, not just for me, but for Callie and OD (who has a sensitive knee).

The foot was so-so: just a little sore on the mud and uneven trail, and not particularly happy with the vertical. I've done next to NO vertical in the past two months, so that was a stressor.

When we got done with this short hunt, it was SORE. Just ACHED. UGH.

...but after a while, it was FINE. After the hunt, I went home - not really sore. Ice cupped it hard - not really sore.

It felt stiff overnight, but...not very sore.

Odd and annoying, but good, I guess. 1hr total run time, which seems to be my upper limit.
