Weather: 50s, nice...but ALLERGIES!
Comments:
Foot wasn't very sore at all in the AM, which was a relief. Ran with Jake only over lunch, "easy" through PRE. However, the HR was jacked and it felt terrible: halfway because my legs were real sore from weights, and as it turned out, the tree pollen was bad!
PM: had to take an allergy pill because of how "tired" I felt, then I came around. Foot was a little ACHY in the PM, which was annoying...but then it was FINE!
Read some real interesting things last night about wound healing and the concept of "wound contraction". Good application for "wounds" like this: fibroblasts PULL on the wound in the mid- to latter-stages, which may be a big driver of its tightness!
So it's key to "stress-and-rest, stress-and-rest..."
