PRE, then to & from Oakway

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Solid day. Slept in, sort of, then breakfasted and studied for a bit, before going to Allan Bros with CA to get some work done. Got some good coaching work done, then we headed home to workout.

CA was tired from her 5+ hour effort, so she and I ran together. And in good habit, we recorded each other before taking off:

- she looked pretty good. A little swively (a teeny bit), but good foot strike, and good trunk symmetry
- I am STILL going left (a little) - just generally lateral. AND, my push-off and hip extension is sloppy and adducting (crossing over behind!). Yikes, gross. On the plus side, the hips were fine and the footstrike is the BEST it's been in a long time, if ever!

Not sure why the push-off extension is so weird. It could be a leftover from the pelvis being off. Either way, the "pawback" cue is going to be huge to clean that up, and simply swing the leg straight through!

Ran easy along the paved bike path to Autzen bridge, then some associated trails back toward Alton, then to Oakway.

I was grumpy. ALLERGIES! Ugh. It's so on...

Weights were good:

- 5 sets of squats (with band), step ups, bicep curl
- 3-4 set of side plank clamshells, ball roll abs, and box jumps

Then ran home.

Foot was a little sore with the box jumps (2-3'), but not too bad afterward

PM: dinner, then CA met Brett Ely for a drink (4x women's Oly trials marathon qualifier) and I chatted with Jake about his future plans!
