Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 48 and gray, light breeze, sprinkles towards end of run

Comments:
Drove to the track for a speed test. Jogged a mile, drilled (heel, toe walk, skip twist, bounds, side jacks, a skips, high knees, butt kicks, low swing skips, low swing walks), 2x25 accel from knee,2x30 accel standing. Grabbed my spikes and jogged to the 200m start. Changed shoes, psyched myself up, and went. I was pretty pleased with a 25.35 in low wind. Even self timed, pretty reasonable from a standing start. Jogged back over to the 200 start, changed shoes, and cooled down by joining Kayla (who I hadn't seen in a while) on her run (400 on at 7:00 to 7:15, 200 slower) for several laps. Then I headed home.

Also, as a side note: this warmup had me feeling really ready to go. Good prep, would do again before racing. Probably more drills (esp. swings) and accels before a regular workout though.
