Comments:
nice weather for a run, Dad biked alongside. Felt terrible pretty much the whole time but I decided to push it for a half mile after turning around anyway. Measuring afterwards determined that I had eyeballed almost exactly half a mile - .503 to be precise. Still didn't feel great but was hoping fro something between 2:30 and 3:00. Felt like I was under 2:40 but I wasn't sure exactly what kind of pace I was running. Pleased to find I did a 2:31 with a hard but not race effort. Working onwards and upwards; this running regularly thing definitely helping me. Felt rough the whole way back afterwards too, the worst I've felt during a run in quite a while so I was very happy that i still managed to get myself out the door for a few miles anyway.
